About the Kung Fu Cowboy

In 1980, Coyote began studing Shaolin Kung Fu.

In 1984, Coyote graduated the Tai Mantis Federation school in Torrance, California.

In 1987, Richard Del Connor advertised for interns at Shaolin Records who would receive, "Free Kung Fu Lessons."

In 1992, Sifu Richard O'Connor founded Shaolin Chi Mantis Traditional Buddhist Gongfu and Taijiquan schools.

In 1996, Richard Connor, "Master Zhen," founded the Tai Chi Youth nonprofit organization.

In 2008, Buddha Zhen founded the Buddha Kung Fu schools.

In 2012, Buddha Zhen moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to learn Lion Dance.

The Kung Fu journey of American Zen has always been intermixed with the Shaolin Kung Fu, Zen Buddhism, and Yang Tai Chi that Richard Del Connor studied, practiced and taught.
